The Masters Hammer & Chisel - 30 Day Review

I'm pretty sure this is my new favorite workout! I don't remember ever seeing results from a workout this fast. That could be because I am a little more focused on my nutrition now then I was a couple of years ago, but still.

After 30 days, I can honestly say I am not bored with this program. Sometimes after 1-2 weeks in, and realizing that the workouts are the same every Monday or every Wednesday, that really messes with the mind and is easy to get turned off. But, with the way they have these workouts spaced out, it was easily 2 weeks before I repeated a workout. Combined with switching between Sagi and Autumn every day, the routines stay fresh.

I like how even though everyday is a total body workout, the moves are switched up just enough so you are working different muscles groups. Plus, some days you go all out and lift heavy, others you go light just to sculpt and tone. There are a couple that are real busters, and you definitely feel it at the end. But that's a good thing right?

So, after only 26 days, we'll round up to 30, I am down 3 lbs, a lot stronger and more tone as you can see in my before and midway photo here. I'm not too concerned with the losing weight part. As you can tell, I'm naturally a lean guy. However, I am most definitely interested in getting more shredded, which looks like I am well on m y way there as long as I stay focused.

One thing is for certain. Autumn loves to work the legs. Pistol squats I have to modify a little bit. My knee just can't do that exercise on my right side. And when Sagi says go heavy with the weights, he means go heavy.

Another really surprising result is how much stronger my core is already. For the first time my obliques actually feel quite firm. That has always been one of the hardest ab muscles for me to work on. My lower back and glutes are also a lot stronger, which is really nice because it has helped improve my form for running.

So there you have it. My 30 day review. I can't wait to see what the end results will be. (To be continued...)
